Single Leg Energy-Absorbing Polyester Lanyard

Energy-absorbing lanyards, also known as shock-absorbing lanyards, are used to connect the worker to a secure anchor point. The snap hook nearest to the energy absorber attaches to the dorsal (back) D-ring of the harness and the other connects to the anchor point.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 1 3/4 inch (45 mm) woven polyester webbing with (Minimum tensile strength of 5000 lbs. 23 kN)
  • Snap, ladder and scaffold hook minimum break load 5000 lbs. (23 kN) and gate rating of 3600 lbs. (16 kN)
  • Maximum deployment length is 11.3 ft. (3.5 m)
  • Maximum free fall distance CANNOT exceed 6 ft. (1.8 m)
  • Maximum capacity including clothing and equipment must be at least 110 Lbs. (50 kg) and not exceed 310 Lbs. (140 kg)
  • Certified to CSA Z259.11-17
